How do I follow a conference? Tap the star icon on any conference card in the Browse tab to follow it. Followed conferences appear in your Followed tab with a second-precise countdown timer.
How do I set a reminder? Open a conference detail page and tap "Edit Reminders" at the bottom. You can configure multiple reminder times (e.g. 14 days, 7 days, 1 day before) for each deadline type — abstract and full paper tracked independently.
What is AoE timezone? AoE (Anywhere on Earth, UTC−12) is the timezone used by most conference submission systems. If a deadline is "23:59 AoE", it means the submission window closes when it is 23:59 even in the last timezone on Earth. Enable it in Settings → Display Timezone.
What do CORE and CCF rankings mean? CORE and CCF are widely used academic ranking systems for computer science conferences. CORE ranks venues as A*, A, B, or C. CCF ranks them as A, B, or C. Grades are shown as badge tags on each conference card and can be used to filter results.
Why is my Dynamic Island not showing a countdown? The Dynamic Island countdown only activates when a deadline is within 24 hours. Make sure the "Dynamic Island Countdown" toggle is enabled in Settings, and that you have a Pro subscription. Dynamic Island requires iPhone 14 Pro or later running iOS 16.2+.
How do I export deadlines to my calendar? Go to the Schedule tab and tap "Export to Calendar" at the bottom. The app will request calendar permission on first use. All followed conference deadlines will be added to your default calendar.
How do I restore my Pro purchase? Tap "Restore" in the top-right corner of the upgrade screen, or go to Settings and tap the Pro banner. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device.
The conference data seems outdated. How do I refresh? Go to Settings → Refresh Now to force a full data sync. You can also pull down on the Browse tab to refresh. Conference data is sourced from a publicly maintained dataset and updated regularly.
How do I change the display language? Go to Settings → Language and select your preferred language. PaperDue supports English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Français, Deutsch, and Español.
